R Apartment Puerto Madero
An apartment in the Puerto Madero neighborhood, designed as a large space divided into different sectors by the equipment and linked with sliding panels, providing a great flexibility. Noble materials are used throughout, with pale oak in the floors and panelings. White walls and the lighting scheme are designed to wash surfaces with luminosity. Linen sofas, with accessory velvet cushions, rest on a natural-colored llama wool carpet. The Elios side tables, in chrome steel from the Simplice Maxalto collection, and the Kidd side table from Flexform, contrast with the monochromatic environment.
Some chosen design objects and works of art enhance the high quality of the monochromatic environments. Translucent roller-type curtains have been used to control the access of natural light.
The bed, with its linen coverlet, features a fur blanket and velvet accessory cushions and rests against a pale oak headboard. A pair of Tolomeo Sospensione Descentrata lamps with parchment screens light the bedroom. There is a range of views across the river, the city and the landscape.
In a corner of the room a sculpture by Enio Iommi stands out. Limoges porcelain tableware rests on a wooden tray.
The floor and walls of the antechamber to the master bathroom are pale oak and the bathroom worktop with a built-in sink is made of Carrara marble. There are a pair of antique glass bottles and two Marie Claude Benard silver vases.
